Noted experts will lead workshops on advances in resuscitation, endoscopy skills, gastroenterology, surgery, oncology, diabetes, cardiology, wound care and hyperbaric medicine, and robotic and laparoscopic technology at the summit.

The meet offers a unique forum for them to come together, sharing their knowledge and expertise in their respective medical fields with their fellow physicians from around the world, and to learn from one another, according to the Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI).

AAPI has been engaged in harnessing the power of Indian diaspora to bring the most innovative, efficient, cost effective healthcare solutions to India, said AAPI president Jayesh Shah.

For the first time, clinical practice workshops will be held at this summit. Expected to draw over 1000 leading experts from several countries, the summit will focus on sharing best practices, developing efficient and cost effective solutions for India.

“The workshop on global advances in resuscitation and on the need to introduce mandatory resuscitation course curriculum in Indian medical colleges is designed to address the global crisis of increasing morbidity and mortality due to heart attacks and strokes,” said Vemuri S. Murthy from, Chicago, Illinois,

The team of panellists from USA and India will discuss the recent evidence-based advances in resuscitation science to enhance the quality of global health, with specific focus on India.

“With the changing trends and statistics in healthcare, both in India and US, we are refocusing our mission and vision of GHS2014, AAPI would like to make a positive meaningful impact on the healthcare in India,” said Shah.
